Q. What is the Senior Citizens Association?
A. The Association is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization designed to benefit the senior citizens in America. The Association was chartered in North Carolina in 1977 and in Washington DC in 1980. The Association is designed to encourage greater opportunities for senior citizens in America. We have helped more than 600,000 senior citizens understand the complicated subjects of Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Prescription Drug Plans and Protecting Assets from Nursing Home Cost.
Q. How did the Association get started?
A. The Association was founded because of our interest in the welfare of the senior citizens of America. The Association is concerned that our senior citizens should not be penalized or impoverished by today's spiraling inflation, but should be able to live their older years with confidence, purpose, dignity, security, and peace of mind. It was for these reasons that the Association was founded.
Q. Who is eligible to join the Association?
A. There are no membership dues. Any person age 50 is eligible to join. By completing and submitting a registration form or free quote form, you signify your agreement to join the Association. One registration form entitles you, your spouse or anyone residing in your household to all Association benefits and privileges. Thousands are currently members of every state in America.

A. Royalty fees are paid to the Association for the use of its intellectual property from various companies throughout America. These fees are used for the general purposes of the Association.
Q. Is Association a state agency or an insurance company?
A. No. It is a nonprofit association solely concerned with the welfare of its members. The Association is not affiliated, endorsed by or connected with Social Security or with any state agency. The Association is not connected with or endorsed by the United States Government or the federal Medicare Program.
Q. Who are the Certified Medicare Specialists?
A. The Association Certified Medicare Specialist are licensed agents that can provide free, objective information about Medicare Supplement insurance plans and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. There is no cost to you for their services.
